The diversionary tactic
Hey, I had a really great week before Thanksgiving, which you can read about here. Or you can read about my rather nice holiday and the lighting of downtown Boston here. Or you can read about the really horrible no good day that I had Wednesday, but it's really long and I don't recommend it.
Instead, go read some of the stuff I've been meaning to link to for a while:
Jessica has a very excellent online diary called Feetnik. I need to make her a link, but I'm having trouble thinking of a good children's lit character to represent her. I love Jessica and her wild New Orleans adventures, and I wish we had hung out in Murfreesboro more. Alas, we were all wrapped up in beautiful boys, which I suppose is not a bad thing, after all…
Mat was the boy Feets was all wrapped up in at the time. He has been known to flirt in Latin, but also to be incredibly crude. His website is genius.
Lynda Barry always seems to know just how I feel. Tom Tommorrow always knows just what I wish I could say.
And sometimes what this guy does just knocks me out. Everything he does is annotated.
A lot has changed on the Scribbling Mob website thanks to Devon. You can get S. M. tee shirts and coffee mugs now! Ooo! The mag makes no money off these items, we just sincerely hope you use you body and/or coffee habit to advertise our 3rd wave way of things. I'm sure Kalle Lasn would be appalled, but mostly we did it just so we could have cool stuff with our little pictures on it.
Both Batman and Thor have signed my Slambook, and I thought what they had to say was fairly interesting. I'm really hoping some more interesting people sign soon. Should I once again change the background on that juvenile thing? Take a look, waste some time signing it, and let me know. The current background is supposed to look like grey muppet fur, but I'm not sure it's working.
Have fun!
